Mandy Friend is the founder and heart behind The Friend Team, a women-owned real estate team proudly serving Rochester, NY and the Finger Lakes region. Licensed in real estate since 2010, Mandy founded The Friend Team in 2013 with a vision that real estate could be both highly professional and deeply personal.



Mandy leads with heart in everything she does. Her people-first approach centers on supporting her agents as whole humans, building systems that allow them to thrive, and ensuring every client feels cared for, heard, and confident throughout their real estate journey. Under her leadership, The Friend Team has grown into one of the most trusted and community-focused real estate teams in the region.



Deeply committed to giving back, Mandy is a passionate supporter of local businesses and organizations including Shootout for Soldiers, Teach2Learn, St. Joe’s Church, and many others. Community involvement isn’t a side initiative — it’s woven into the fabric of how she leads and why the team exists.



Mandy and her husband, Ed, are the proud parents of five children, two of whom joined their family through the meaningful journey of fostering and adoption. Together, Mandy and Ed also own and operate several local businesses, including Full Heart Childcare, Upper Cervical Chiropractic of Rochester, Made New Laundromat, and Tidy Toppers — each one grounded in the same mission of service, care, and impact.



Known for her kindness, generosity, and grace, Mandy somehow balances leadership, entrepreneurship, family, and community with humility and warmth. Her vision continues to guide The Friend Team’s mission of transforming lives through real estate — and through the relationships built along the way.
