FWF: Market Recap - Quarter 1 2024

We, along with our Buyers out there, are EXCITED to share that we’re seeing an INCREASE in new listings! Year to date we have a 9% increase in new listings in Ontario County and an almost 7% increase in new listings in Monroe County compared to this same time last year.

Our closed sales are very similar to last year but we predict that will increase due to our increased inventory. While we predict this additional inventory will help, we still expect the market to be a strong Sellers Market with multiple offers continuing. 

As we study the interest rates, we don’t expect much excitement in the year ahead but we do have many lenders and banks providing incentives through grant programs, neighborhood initiatives or even buyers deciding to buy down their interest rate.
