MARKET UPDATE FROM THE FRIEND TEAM 

While we were excited tracking closed sale volume increasing, all of that growth was lost in June and July as combined closed sales in Monroe and Ontario Counties dropped year over year. 

Closed sales along with new listings are basically the same as last year, which frankly, isn’t the worst news!

After years of the number of sales decreasing, for now we can still celebrate a strong first half of the year. 

However, with new listings continuing to decrease in June and July this number lays the foundation for future sales and we’re expecting that to lead to less pendings and ultimately, less closings. 

Our median sales price is still up year over year which is GREAT news for homeowners and our interest rates seem to be settling in in the low sevens.
