For four years now, The Friend Team has had the absolute joy of gathering with our clients, friends, and community at the Seneca Park Zoo. Each summer, this beloved Rochester landmark becomes the backdrop for one of our favorite traditions: our annual Client Appreciation Event.

Why Seneca Park Zoo?

The Seneca Park Zoo isn’t just a place to see lions, elephants, and giraffes—it’s a cornerstone of Rochester, NY, bringing families together to learn, explore, and connect with nature. Located right along the Genesee River, the zoo is easily accessible for clients across Monroe County, Ontario County, and the Finger Lakes region.

It’s family-friendly, fun for all ages, and offers that perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. We love that our clients’ kids can run around with excitement while parents and grandparents enjoy connecting with each other (and with us!).

Four Years of Tradition

When we first decided to host an appreciation event, we wanted a space that represented what The Friend Team is all about: community, connection, and care. The zoo checked every box.

Fast forward to this year—our 4th Annual Client Appreciation Night at Seneca Park Zoo—and nearly 700 of you showed up to celebrate with us! From the moment the gates opened, the energy was electric. Kids giggled as they spotted lions roaring, families enjoyed a picnic dinner, and everyone soaked up the gorgeous Rochester summer evening.
